This is a personal blog that just so happens to be situated in the TARDIS, so we go e’erywhere. This is my blog and I will post whatever I very well like. Sometimes we get lost in the vortex and I’ll post something from another fandom. Whatever. We might not find our way but we’ll always get to where we need to be.

→Your name is from The Hunger Games yet you post a ton of Doctor Who.

So what? DW has been a part of my life much longer than THG, who is anyone to complain what I post on my own blog?

→What happened to all the THG on your blog?

It’s no secret that I’ve had issues with the racism behind the film, and although they tried to fix that by adding POC to their tributes, it’s still blatant and for me, unacceptable. The author herself has retracted her ideas about a mixed culture that the future would take place in, and I’ve lost a ton of respect because of that. Because the fandom insists that they don’t see what the problem is, I’ve decided that I don’t want anything to do with it any longer. I don’t have a problem with other people liking it, but I’d prefer to not be a part of it. However, I am allowed to interpret the books any way I want, and I still see Katniss as a powerful WOC and she’ll always have a special place in my heart.

→What in the world is Korra and why is there so much of it?

The Legend of Korra is the spin-off show to Avatar: The Last Airbender and focuses on a female of color as its lead. I absolutely love it because not only does its creators respect the cultures they based their show off of, but also know how to treat their female characters right. It’s everything I’ve ever wanted.

→You care a lot.

I do. This is the only world that we live in, and I believe that we need to make it the best possible place to be. That includes treating our women right, our people of color right, and everyone in between, including LGBT peoples and those unsure of who they are. Because no one person can decide they are better than another because they are the majority, or the norm. We only get a few chances to make things right and to make the world better for our future and what kind of message would we leave to our children if we decided to better ourselves but not the ones around us? I stand for all people who don’t have a voice and those mistreated because I believe in human rights, not white/male/heterosexual/non-disabled/wealthy rights. We only get once chance at life, so why not make it a good one, and be known for doing something good, and be remembered and loved for being good?

→How do you make your gifs and graphics?

Trial and error, darling. Nothing I make is perfect; it can always be better.

→Theme?

My own creation. I don’t take kindly to thieves, and I hold a long grudge. I block any and everyone who steals.

→You complain about books a lot.

I’m a huge reader, so it’s hard to impress me. I have a lot of feelings about everything.

→What shows are you watching?

I don’t even know anymore. A lot. My current loves are Game of Thrones, Doctor Who and The Legend of Korra.

→There sure is a lot of pink here.

I know. I justify it with the fact that I’m a film major, so watching tv and reading a lot of books is just extra studies.

→Things go missing on your blog a lot.

My blog is hungry. It’s silly, really, but it’s an OCD thing.

→Wallpapers?

1440x900 px. It’s easier to go down a size than up. The way I do it, you have to click on the image to get to the wall. If it’s the wrong size, I’d be happy to customize it for you if you ask nicely. :)

→Do you take requests?

Usually no, but it depends. I don’t do custom wallpapers because graphics are not my strong points, but I’d be happy to attempt gifs for you if it’s within my means.
